We would IDEALLY like this person to work on a Monday and Tuesday from 15.00 – 19.00 (occasionally until 21.00) and also on a Wednesday morning (although there is a possibility of moving this to a Thursday or Friday instead) from 9.00 – 14.00. We’d like you to be able to start properly in January 2010 but we’d like to arrange some flexible times before then.

It is essential that you are able to speak English and that you are reliable and trustworthy. We have a small but lively dog so being comfortable with her is important as well.

Ideally you would be willing and able to sign up to a nanny agency (this guarantees you a weekly income even if we go away etc but it does mean that you would need to do a first aid course/childcare diploma – via the agency, register to pay taxes) and of course if there are any costs attached to this we would pick these up.

In our dream world you’d be able to speak German (not essential!), have a criminal record check and be around for some time to come.

This might sound like a long list – we hope it isn’t off-putting – we just want to find the right person to look after our baby boy and in return we will provide you with a relaxed and informal home to work in, reasonable pay in line with standard babysitting/nanny rates and the possibility of extending your hours should everything go well.
