Key Functon: Arranges international and domestic travel for site staff, and prepares after-travel expense reports. Ensures relevant security access documents for locations visited are in place. Maintains section calendar, provides telephone support, assists visitors with travel and lodging arrangements, and provides support in organizing conferences and meetings. Sorts, screens and distributes incoming and outgoing mail. Manages site bank account, reconciles and prepares bi-weekly petty cash report. Procures supplies, pays all site related bills and manages leased equipment contract. As MITRE and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) security manager, ensures site offices meet DoD and MITRE physical security standards for classified document storage and control, personnel security and visitor access, as well as control and accountability of the U.S. government COMSEC assets. As alternate government property custodian, performs equipment inventories as required by DISA Europe. Operates VTC and other communications equipment at the site, and serves as the site point of contact for MITRE and DISA VTC and LAN issues. Performs time and attendance duties and submits completed weekly time reports. Maintains files and personnel records as required. Consolidates, and ensures inputs for the site’s various activity reports are received in a timely manner, and compiled into a cohesive final product and distributed.
Required: - High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Desired Skills: - Additional formal training in technical area such as word processing, spreadsheet, database or graphics, or professional development areas as organization, tracking or communication and teambuilding is desired. - Candidate with current DoD secret clearance highly desired.

NGO. *Exchange offer: offered a nice free room (fully furnished) and board/car/ expenses/office facilities in centre of Brussels in an elegant house and office in exchange for assisting a handicapped but busy lady with her international foundation. Room is worth 500 euro plus food/and facilities (extra own computer etc in room, extra fridge etc) comes down to 850 euro, plus use of a nice car for private use and all office equipment (also in free-time is worth an additional 200 euro per month). Additionally you get paid extra expenses (400 for fulltime and 200 for half time as pocket money). You can also make interesting bonuses if you are good in selling things on e-bay but also if you are good in selling other goods such as cd's, clothes, books, jewels, antiques etc. and organize diverse benefit events for the foundation (for instance in Rotary, Lions where concerts and charity events could be give).You will be working for a handicapped lady but with an amazing track record and also someone very well-known in her fields in the past in a number of countries.. Fluency in English and also Dutch is preferred, excellent computer skills, office and administration experience is essential and excellent writing skills in English and Dutch (some French is also preferred as you will be driving her to the south of France regularly). Someone with a driver license is preferred as different European counties will be visited often for different purposes- for business purposes, social functions etc. Person must be flexible, extremely well-mannered and familiar with protocol as you will be regularly visiting the EP, EC and other diplomatic institutions on her behalf. You must be very responsible, reliable, punctual, disciplined, very organized with papers, able to deal with a variety of tasks involved with running the foundation which deals among others with arts, diplomacy, music and ecology, product developments of cd;s, DVD’s and the creation of different training materials in different formats (books, courses, films, documentaries etc).. There are many books she has written which need proof reading and many cd's she created which need to be brought on the market. However the lady will also need help with her own administrative and legal matters as well. Only experienced and organized people should apply and people with a sense of responsibility and willing to be beneficial in society. Especially students with a background in law, journalism, marketing, fundraising, computers (web-site design), multi-media (creating DVD’s and films) cultural studies, (especially arts management) business, MBA and secretarial studies are preferred. For the right people this could be the start of an interesting career meeting many high profile people and working on a multitude of interesting projects. As this lady is very versatile and a high achiever you will be trained by someone with great experience but have to be flexible like she is and with the right human attitude. This is ideal for people who are looking for a more managerial or responsible position because sooner or later you will become her right hand after she has trained you. Starting date is a.s.a.p and for a minimum of 12 months but this can be extended and it is preferred to have people with a longer commitment. In exceptional cases a shorter period will also be accepted # to 6 months). If in your trial period all works out well this could also become a long -term arrangement.
