I am an American student looking for a place to stay in Helsinki while I study at Metropolia UAS. HOAS has not yet placed me in an apartment, and I am a little nervous that perhaps there will not be enough space for me. My budget is limited (300 euroa a month is my upward limit for a flat) but my spirit is endless; I can wash dishes, mop floors, and fix electronics to make your life easier. I don't need an entire flat to myself, just a little room. I am a bit talkative by Finnish standards, but I am very clean, polite, and compulsively honest. I'm not bringing any furniture or pets with me, just a bedroll, clothes, and a few textbooks. I cook excellent Tex-Mex and Mexican food, not the pansy bland stuff found in restaurants.
