Your next step is.....Where. Bloom Where your Planted at the American Chruch in Paris. For 37 years, generations of Expatriates have attended Bloom Where You’re Planted (BLOOM), a series of networking seminars for newcomers as an introduction to living in France. Bloom is presented & sponsored by The Women of The American Church(WOAC) a non-profit community outreach orginasation dedicated to giving English-speakers practical insights and thoughtful guidance on daily life in their new French home.<br/><br/><br/><br/>BLOOM programs offer recent arrivals of all nationalities and affiliations a crash course into your own personal cultural transition. The WOAC/Bloom is an introduction to meeting new friends, an unequaled opportunity to network and getting connected socially to Paris. BLOOM has become a familiar institution in the English speaking expatriated community, and has assisted men and women in adapting to their ne life since 1970. All seminars are held at the American Church in Paris 65, quai d’Orsay, 75007 Paris, France.<br/><br/><br/><br/>BLOOM Where You're Planted, Monday & Tuesday, October 6th & &7th, is a program covering such subjects as: adapting to change, accessing healthcare, cultural information and activities, tips for daily living, community involvement, children's activities, and enjoying France through food and travel. Over 60 local organizations who provide support or services to English speaking expats are represented or have information available for attendees. In addition to featuring a wide variety of programs, speakers and workshops, the day ends with a wine reception.
