]]> http://www.expatriates.com/cls/5582702.html I am going to start a postdoc research at Lisbon Nova, anthropology dept, in Sept, and am looking for two or three room mates to create a vibrant, international, open minded, sparkling and sociable house (this does not mean that there will be party every night; just considerate nice living together). I found a great large flat in an old refurbished house near the centre (Santos area, with lots of nice places to go out, also Principe Real and Barrio Alto in short walking distance) free from Sept. There are three double bedrooms plus two office or guest bedrooms. I am looking to share this with two other people - professionals, students, anyone nice and considerate, with some kind of story to tell. International people are of course welcome, I used to live in shared international houses for years, and there have been really nice friendships formed. There is no real age limit, though, as said before, this is not an all-day-all-night party house; so young students who want to discover their limits may want to look somewhere else. I do not speak Portugese (yet), but French, English, German, a bit of Spanish. I like cooking, eating and hanging out with my friends, going out, watching films, making films. The flat I mentioned is not super cheap, not really expensive either; it has 120m2 and costs 1200 €/month, to be shared by 3 (=400 each=okay?), plus roughly €50 charges each on top. I think it's a fair price. There is even a fireplace, central heating, balconies, etc., etc. I haven't signed this yet, there might be other options; I will be in Lisbon at the end of July, early Aug to check this out.
