1-A systems/business analyst designs new IT solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity.
2- Working closely with different business units or requestor.
3- Examine closely existing business models and flows of data in the business.
4- Discuss their findings with the requesting business units, and then design an appropriate improved IT solution.
5- Draw up and cost specifications and produce outline designs of new IT systems, specifying the data, files and logical operations the system will perform, and the way data will be viewed by the user.
6- Present design to the requestor and, once approved, they work closely with the requestor team to implement the solution.

Work Activities:
1- liaising extensively with external or internal business units;
2 - producing project feasibility reports;
3 - translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs;
4 - identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability;
5 - creating logical and innovative solutions to complex problems;
6- drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems;
7 - presenting proposals to clients;
8 - working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
9- ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met;
10 - drawing up a testing schedule for the complete system;
11- overseeing the implementation of a new system;
12- planning and working flexibly to a deadline;
