The size of the house totals 120 square meters( 1,250 sq feet).
General layout of the apartment:-
You enter the apartment into a hallway which has 5 doors and folding stairs to the next floor.
The first door on the left leads to a smaller room with a cupboard and a single bed for guest or a study (picture no.49).
The next 2 doors lead to the dining and living area (used to be 2 rooms now one larger one). The living room has a tv and dvd player, couch and easy chairs. In the dining area a table with 4 chairs. The next door is the toilet and next to that the kitchen which has yet another door leading to an area which has large double doors leading to a balcony where you can sit and have breakfast! Wonderful for the summer months. From here you look onto the gardens below.
The master bedroom (with a double bed) is off the living room and has an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and vanity set
Upstairs there is a room which can be used as a Gym(has training bike).In a corner to the left is the washing machine and clothes dryer. From this area a door leads to a shower with wash basin, and a second door leading to another bedroom with two beds.
The house is light and modern. It also has a dishwasher, large refrigerator, cooker, oven and microwave.

The area is called Schiebroek and is 20 minutes by bicycle from the Erasmus university. P.S. The apartment is most suitable for having guests and should you wish to share the costs there are many students coming to Rotterdam to do internships. Young doctors in the academic hospital and architectural students who work in the many architectural practices in Rotterdam (including ours www.eentien.nl). I have been renting out rooms for years. It would be possible to rent upstairs for at least 400 euros a month.
