the materials we need is your passport with valid visa,local shanghai registration form of temporary residence,2 passport photographs(2 inches size),
as the temporary residence registration,if you now live with your friend in shanghai,you can process the registration easily,just with your friend,and your friend should has materials to prove he is living there.
if you now live in hotel,it is much more easier,just com to the reception desk,they will offer the registration,but donot forget to let the hotel put their stamp on the form).
