Date: Thursday, July 24, 2008 Category: Region: (Yanbu) Description: INTERNATIONAL COMPANY IN YANBU, KSA QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Marine Chemist, Organic or Analytical Chemistry/Environmental Chemistry with three years experience both in the field and laboratory. Experience should be in: • Supervision, Planning and implementing the following marine programs. • Marine ecology related to zoology especially coral reefs and other benthic animals. • Marine bio-monitoring programs. • Physical and chemical oceanography. • Studies to quantify marine pollution. • Bio assays. • Marine productivity. • Must have 4 years experience in diving or advance SCUBA diver with experience in applying coral reef methodology and underwater photography. • Experience in handling latest sophisticated marine field and laboratory equipments. • Knowledgeable in preparing marine environmental impact statements or assessments. • Must be fluent in English and able to write concise technical reports. • Able to coordinate with modeling specialist in developing modeling programs • Must be computer literate and can handle some simple programming for marine environmental work. LOCATION The project office is based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for career development and provides an opportunity to participate in an exciting project.
