The room is fully furnished (king bed, desk, closet, duvet and pillow), very luminous and roomy. The shower is private, while the toilet is shared with two housemates. The house is located in a very quiet street, and it has its own yard with dining area.
The rent is EUR 500 for a furnished room + EUR 150 for all charges. The charges include the consumption of electricity/gas/water (fixed price, so no surprises), cleaning lady once a week, tv/wifi Internet. It also includes all house-related goods (e.g. toilet paper, cleaning equipment, light bulbs, etc.).
The house is located in Brussels in the Ixelles district, between the Place Fernand Cocq and the Place du Luxembourg (European Parliament), close to the restaurants/pubs area (5 minutes walking from the restaurants of the Place Saint-Boniface, 10 minutes from the pubs of Place du Luxembourg and Place Flagey, 10 minutes from the UGC cinema of Porte de Namur) and close to the commercial district of Toison d’or/avenue Louise. The house is close to supermarkets and night shops. Public transport is also ideal. The house is at 2 minutes walking distance from Place Fernand Cocq were the buses 54 (Place du Luxembourg) and 71 (Gare centrale/City center) stop. The subway station Porte de Namur is at 10 minutes walking (lines 2 and 6). Also, a Villo station (bicycles to rent) is located on the Place Fernand Cocq. All is thus close and easily accessible.
The house is a typical “maison de maître” of Brussels: high ceilings, very luminous, high level materials: wooden floor everywhere except the hall, which is covered with original 19th century tiling.
The surface of the house is approximately 320 m2, with a 30 m2 yard on the ground floor.
