Date: Sunday, October 12, 2008 Category: Region: (Al Khobar) Description: Job Description/Responsibilities BSc Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 and maximum of 15 years experience in performing piping and related engineering calculations, stress analysis using CESAR, piping layouts, pipe routings and other related work. Thorough knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI Codes and standards is essential. Ability to work on electronic CAD design (Autocad / Micro station) is a benefit for this work. Ability to work within a multi-national team is essential. Ability to evaluate bid proposals, material take-offs, pricing and budget preparation is also essential. Thorough knowledge of PDMS & PDS software. Experience A minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in piping design for large industrial projects. The position is with a leading international company in Saudi Arabia. All positions include a complete expatriate package, a minimum 1 year renewable contract and competitive tax-free remuneration. USD.110,000/- per annum to USD. 120,000/- per annum depending on experience. The positions are based in Al Khobar (25km across causeway from Bahrain) - with occasional site visits.
