Description: I am a British with Arab background, I am enquiring whether you have any vacancies within your organisation, either now or possibly in the near future, for an individual of my skills and experience.
I have enjoyed a particularly diverse and rewarding career during which time I have acquired a broad range of skills and capabilities.
My background is in journalism and, in 1996, I founded an Advertising Newspaper in Abu Dhabi, a publication that has subsequently established itself as a highly reputable publication. Managing all aspects of this newspaper business enabled me to gain extensive experience in all aspects of advertising and marketing acquiring skills that have proven invaluable in my subsequent career which has been heavily focused on marketing.
For the last 10 years, I have worked as a Marketing Director in London initially for FISL and, more recently, for 5 Event where I have been instrumental in developing innovative advertising and marketing strategies that have contributed directly to the achievement of increased sales and competitive superiority. I now wish to develop my career further, and am therefore looking for a new and suitably challenging position in the GCC.
During my career in journalism, I was able to build rapport with some high profile individuals in the Middle East, relationships which I have maximised in order to create articles for publication in leading newspapers. This ability to develop strategic relationships has proven equally effective in my career in marketing ensuring that I perform effectively in collaboration with key customers, suppliers, managers and project teams alike.
