UMCares, in collaboration with University of Malaya UNESCO Club, is proud to invite you to be a part of our upcoming
“UMCares CAR-BOOT SALE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT”
UMCares is a group that serves and leads the way of University of Malaya's purpose of being environmental friendly. This Car-Boot Sale aims to encourage the 5R's campaign - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Renew and Respect.
Details of the event are as follows:
Date : 4th October 2009 (Sunday)
Time : 10am till 5pm
Venue : KPS Open Parking Space at University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur
Limits: Available for 1st 50 Cars (1st come, 1st served basis)
Rental: RM30 per lot (2 parking lots will be provided)
Conditions : Any items (New/used items are allowed) ; Selling of alcohol, cigarettes or dangerous items are not allowed ; Tents will not be provided but you are allowed to bring it. It should not exceed the size of 2 parking lots.
We hope to encourage the public to go GREEN and start making the effort to save our earth. Profits will be channeled to future UMCares programmes (such as this) which will continue the fight for an environmental friendly world. We hope you will be a part of our mission and hope you bring your friends and family to join us on that day to share the joy and be a part of our GO-GREEN adventure.
YB Senator Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office will be a special guest to this event!!!
