Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2009 Category: Region: Description: Responsibilities For the Spanish market, the Account Manager will: • Manage a portfolio of customers • act as the primary point-of-contact for client Accounts and lead day-to-day renewal, Upsell and cross-sell management activity. • Proactively finds new ways to build the client’s business and grow accounts. • Be responsible for his customers’ satisfaction and loyalty. The AM will build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. • Masters and maintains vast knowledge of client's business, competition, and latest industry news and trends. • Ensure that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Managing Director of any problems that may arise. Qualifications & Experience -Educated to A-Level standard, minimum. -Previous B2B sales experience is essential. -IT literate – Word, PowerPoint and Excel essential, experience of sales tracker software and CRM systems would be beneficial. -Excellent presentation skills. -Skilled in cold-calling and telephone sales. -A high desire to achieve and develop will be the key to the individual role and development in the business. -High ambition and drive, relationship effectiveness, closing ability, problem solving and process orientation. -Flexibility, resilience, adaptability and a good sense of humour are essential for this role and the organization. -Ability to communicate effectively up to Board level. -Experience dealing with Mid Tier and Enterprise class customers.
