I. Core Qualification Requirements (All are Required)
1. Personal Qualifications: Must hold two valid BICSI certifications – RCDD/NTS certification (for supervising the preparation of construction drawings) + BICSI Installer, Level 2 certification (for installation supervision and on-site inspection), both certificates must be valid; those without relevant valid certifications will not be considered.
2. Compliance Requirements: Proficient in and strictly compliant with BICSI, TIA, UL, and NEC methods, standards, and specifications; familiar with Saudi Arabian electromechanical construction specifications and project technical approval, testing, and acceptance procedures; no history of poor performance in Saudi Arabian construction.
II. Job Responsibilities
1. Layout Supervision Responsibilities: As an RCDD/NTS certified holder, directly supervise the preparation, compilation, and review of construction drawings (Shop Drawings) to ensure that the drawings comply with project specifications and relevant standards. 2. Installation Supervision Responsibilities: As a BICSI Installer, Level 2 certified holder, directly supervise the entire structured cabling installation process. Be present at the project site at all times to ensure standardized construction techniques and control installation quality and safety.
3. On-site Inspection Responsibilities: Utilize BICSI Installer, Level 2 certification to conduct on-site inspections, completing inspections and acceptance checks according to specifications to ensure the installation process and deliverables meet standards.
4. Experience and Documentation Submission: Submit relevant personal supporting documents, including proof of successful telecommunications system installations within the past 3 years, and documentation of at least 3-5 successful telecommunications system installation cases. At least 2 of these cases should have a system scale and construction complexity comparable to this project, and include projects using fiber optic and copper cabling systems. Provide the case name, location, completion date, and owner contact information.
5. Technical Control and Collaboration: Adhere to industry-standard engineering, installation, and testing procedures; utilize authorized manufacturer components and distribution channels to support project implementation; liaise with owners, supervisors, and construction teams to conduct technical communication, answer questions, provide feedback and resolve project technical issues, and assist in completing technical approvals, testing and acceptance, and document archiving.
III. Experience and Ability Requirements
1. Personal Experience: Experience successfully providing telecommunications systems within the past 3 years; specific experience in the installation and testing of fiber optic and copper cable telecommunications cabling systems; familiarity with technical control processes for projects of similar scale and complexity; ability to independently complete core tasks related to the position.
2. Skills Requirements: Proficient in the preparation and review of shop drawings; strong technical control capabilities; familiarity with structured cabling installation processes and testing standards; ability to conduct on-site supervision and inspection in a standardized manner; understanding of manufacturer installation guidelines; ability to ensure installation meets warranty requirements.
3. Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken, written, and oral English; able to smoothly communicate with owners and supervisors to complete technical communication, document submission, and case explanations; Arabic proficiency is preferred.
4. Qualifications: Must be obedient to project management, strictly abide by Saudi local laws and regulations and project safety procedures, possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent stress resistance, meticulousness, good communication and coordination skills, and strong execution ability; able to strictly implement the requirements of the specifications.
