Description: Account Service Intern (prior to an offered Business Development position)
Overall responsibility
Engage in all areas related to creating, supervising campaigns, maintaining and providing services to new and existing Wanmo clients. Responsibility involves creating and developing new accounts as well as learning and supporting current accounts.
Key areas of responsibility
- Client service support to all accounts/projects under the Director for Business development, from pitching new clients, developing brand strategy, media planning & proposal, maintaining accounts, client relationships etc.
- Intern will receive opportunity to learn the operations and execution of campaign through supervising works from the whole PE or project execution team including that of an account executive or account manager.
- Intern is encouraged and expected to learn the business at Wanmo and independently develop and manage accounts and clients. Intern can later decide to develop its own business by focusing on specific industry to specialize in advertising.
Experience gained
- After 6 months, intern would have learned how to build and develop his/her own business through client management and relations, through the knowledge of his/her own product and its solution to brands and marketers, through his/her knowledge of the Chinese market environment, through his/her knowledge of online media selection/planning. In short, after the internship, intern would have learned how to run his/her own business and operate in a small team to carry out projects and win new accounts.
Qualifications
- University degree in Advertising, Marketing or Business. Post graduate degree is a major plus.
- Some experience working in online ad agencies, brand marketing and client service.
- Knowledge of the Chinese market is a plus
- Knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage, but not a requirement.
