Description: Job Title: Senior Fire Fighting Engineer for Oil & Gas Process Plant
Salary: USD 3000
Job Description:
Establish or understand design criteria/philosophy for Fire protection system, Fire and gas detection system, and Fireproofing system.
Review and Clarify ITB documents/specifications on fire protection system requirements.
Verify and Clarify FEED design of fire protection systems (fire water/foam, F&G detection system, etc.).
Identify fire hazardous and toxic materials as per PJ requirements.
Establish fire scenarios.
Determine Fire Risk Areas(fire zones ) and estimate/calculate fire water demand.
Prepare Layout drawings for fire protection system, Fire and gas detection system.
Prepare P&IDs for Fire protection system, fire pump system.
Have knowledge in international code and standards on fire protection system.
Prepare F& G Hazards Identification for F&G Mapping.
Fireproofing design execution such as identification of fire hazardous equipment, object to be fireproofed, fireproofing for instrument/control system, and preparation of Fire hazard zone map.
Conduct Hydraulic calculation for fire main system / water spray system etc.
Review Plot plan, and 3D model regarding fire protection system and F&G detection system.
Establish data sheet/requisition for fire protection system equipment/system for purchase.
Conduct technical evaluation work for fire vendor quotations.
Review vendor document for fire protection system.
Additional Info:
The role will be based in Al Khobar, KSA and is office based but will require site visits.
They can have obtained the relevant experience anywhere in the world, they do not have to have previously worked in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
For visa issues the client is mainly looking at Indian, Pakistani, Indonesian and Filipino candidates.
The reason candidates have been rejected so far is because the client has received many CV's but they are for building fire fighting engineers, whereas the client is looking for Oil and Gas process plant fire fighting enginers with 10+ years experience.
The start date is ASAP.
