Description: International (middle sized) software development company is seeking a full time Linux system administrator in Budapest.
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least two years of experience in Linux system administration
- Broad knowledge of LAMP platform
- Basic LAN and WAN protocols, knowledge of technologies: Samba, VPN, DNS, LDAP
- Shell scripting
- In depth knowledge of routers
- Good written English skill
Advantage if you have:
- LTSP, Linux HA experience
- Perl AND/OR Python scripting
- Experience in Linux based security camera systems
- Intermediate English knowledge
Typical tasks:
- Installing service programs for foreign offices
- Supporting LTSP for foreign countries
- Administer the company's VPN
- Developing central audit systems
- User administration (in case needed)
- Other pilot projects
- Automating
