Date: Saturday, October 24, 2009 Category: Region: Description: LOCATION In most noble part of Le Marais, near St Paul and famous Place des Vosges - Bus 96 is a great link to Left Bank - Walking distance from Ile St Louis and Notre Dame de Paris - near lively area of rue St Antoine and not far from fuzzy Bastille area and its modern Opera House, from Bofinger old Brasserie restaurants, and all other treasures of Le Marais (Goumanyat fabulous spice shop, Carnavalet Museum, etc...). Nice boulangerie just across the street, a couple of restaurants are just downstairs, supermarkets and many other shops ands restaurants are steps away, mostly near St Paul metro station. Nearest metro station is St Paul (on convenient line 1 leading to Hotel de Ville, Chatelet, Le Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Concorde Square, Champs Elysées, La Défense, and also to Bastille, Gare de Lyon, Nation, Vincennes park and zoo) Other bus lines are also stopping nearby. BUILDING and APARTMENT The building iself is a rather recent one, with an elevator, and it is safe with a double interphone system. So, the apartment is no crappy old place; on the contrary it is rather functional, with a spacious kitchen and several large deep cupboards.
