Description: The management of the compound attached to the King Faisal hospital is adopting a zero cat policy regardless of the fact that the community there has successfully controlled the stray cat population through a neuter/spay program.
They request anyone looking for a tame cat or kitten to contact Dr. Lana at 050 119 8458 or email info@compoundcats.com. Some kittens looking for homes can also be found at www.openpaws.org/cats.html (Riyadh) and www.saudipaws.com (Eastern KSA).
Foster homes also appreciated until the urgency subsides.
If anyone has or knows of a farm that would take on some of those stray compound cats in a humane environment, that would also be very much appreciated. An alternate solution is sought to the trapping and poisoning, or trapping and dumping in the desert, or using the cats for "research", which is what these cats currently face.
Any help would be much appreciated.
