Description: EDUCATION Engineering or Bachelor in Computer Science

EXPERIENCE 3 to 5 years in IT Department
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
Managing the overall daily activities of the IT department
Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that the facilities meet the needs of individuals and projects and providing users with appropriate support and advice.
Obtaining competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness.
Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems and researching in installing new systems.
Ensuring the smooth running of all server systems, including anti-virus software, print services, Email and Internet services in daily basis.
Providing secure access to the network for remote users and ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack.
Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITY & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Check and maintain all network communications of the company.
Insure virus-free environment at the workplace.
Educate and give orientations to staff when needed on IT related issues.
Assist all users in trouble-shooting.
Maintain all servers in all Company locations and make sure they are up and running.
Take care of the projects requirement and its implementation.
Follow-up with vendors and monitor new technology advancements and updates
Maintain the back-up system, Install and maintain the E-Mail Exchange server.
Ensure effective communications with all Company sites
Maintain the IP address of the network, user profiles.
Maintain all Windows servers, planning for upgrade and test all systems on a periodic basis.
REQUIRED SPECIFIC SKILLS
Microsoft Certification on Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003`(MCSE)
Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA)
Additional knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Sun Solaris Operating Systems, technical softwares related to petrochemicals companies, TrendMicro Antivirus Server/Client software etc.
Hardware knowledge like HP Proliant servers, Cisco Routers, Firewalls and Switchs, 3Com switchs, PABX systems etc.
Knowledge in communications systems like, Ethernet, Wireless, Circuit Lease lines, VSAT system etc.

HSE REQUIREMENT & RESPONSIBILITY
Works in compliance with Regulations, Laws and other Government Requirements related to the protection of health & safety of employees and third parties, and the protection of the natural environment.
Undertakes to report any non-compliance related to the Human Resources Department.
Immediately stop work, or stop the work of others, if I believe it is unsafe to continue.
Comply at all times with the Company Standards & Procedures.
Not allow myself to be exposed knowingly to unacceptable risks to my personal safety
Use Personal Protective Equipment as directed by the Company
Not commit any action that will:
prevent safety instructions from being followed, or
cause damage or impair safety devices
Immediately report any incident or accident to the HR department
