Visa
The visa from foreigners can be distinguished into two types: port visas and ordinary visas. Most foreigners must have a visa to come to China. They must get visas from Chinese embassies or consulates-general in their home countries before coming to China. However, citizens of countries which have mutual visa exemption agreements with China don't need a visa.
Health Certificate
It is a certificate which proves that the foreigners have good health conditions. It is the necessary procedure that has to be done before the expatriates begin to work in China.
Work Permit
It is a legal authorization which allows a person to take employment. It is most often used in reference to instances where a person is given permission to work in a country where one does not hold citizenship. You must have a work permit in order to work legally in Shanghai.
