Children learn the use of scissors; glue; paint;identify high and low notes; sing songs; play games; recognize the seven continents of the earth; understand the rotation of the earth; the days of the week; months of the year; use polite phrases; understand the basic needs of humans; basic color theory-color mixing; use a pencil; use eraser; use crayons.
Language/Math:
Children learn to count; learn the names of numbers; colors; textures; measurements; people; continents; animals; geometrical shapes; geometrical solids; furnishings; clothing items; body parts; botanical parts. Learn sounds of letters; basic sound analysis; match number symbol to quantity; speak in complete sentences; use prepositional phrases.
Practical Life:
Children learn Care of Self: use the toilet, wash and dry hands, wash face, use spoon and fork, drink from a glass, wipe nose, put on jacket and shoes, hang up coat, learn to use zipper, buttons, Velcro, buckles, pour own drink, serve own food, ask for help politely.
Care of Environment:
Use a sponge for cleaning, use a towel for drying, use a broom, use a crummer, use a mop, carry a tray, push in chair, put work away.
Handle Objects with Care:
Walk without bumping or stepping into/onto people or things, say "excuse me" ask permission to touch someone or their work, roll a mat.
FUN TRIPS
Going to the zoo, on-site fun trips to amusement parks which are all wonderful learning, enriching, as well as fun experiences for the children.
WEEKEND ACTIVITIES:
Wednesday (FUNDAY), kids cooking, art & craft.
