Fixed Wireless Internet differs from others like DSL and fiber links. It maintains your internet signal, rather than through the cable, via radio waves transmitted by a base station. Your supplier will install a receiver in your home if you choose a fixed wireless web. This communicates with the closest WLAN base station and provides you with internet access from the receiver to the router in your house via a cable that carries a broadband signal. Set up a broadband infrastructure such as DSL is prohibitively costly. It can be costly to transport and bury wires on the floor and to get the required allowances. It is therefore not financially sensible for providers of services to take this route in less populated regions, where they cannot bring in enough subscribers to justify the overall expenses.
