I first discovered yoga back in 2008 where I was just a student like anybody else in a yoga fitness centre. Slowly but surely I was hooked and inspired by what yoga has to offer me physically and mentally. However, circumstances back then did not allow me to treat it seriously as a profession. Fast forward to many years now, I’m glad to be able to do what I love, albeit on the other side of the mat which is facing the students this time. My favourite yoga flow is the sun salutations series and mainly passionate in yin yoga which is more of a therapeutic restorative kind of yoga connecting your deeper Yin tissues.
Why yoga (root word is yuj which is to connect/join/union)
Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles. It is a 5000 year old ancient system that is still as relevant as ever today and includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which helps bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation (non religious). Today, the term hatha is used in such a broad way that it is difficult to know what a particular hatha class will be like. In most cases, however, it will be relatively gentle, slow and great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style where they hold poses longer.

What I will do
I teach mainly hatha yoga with variations of gentle to yin yoga to suit different students needs and even for those with pre-existing health conditions or health ailments. I provide customised learning yoga sessions to suit the different needs that you may have.
