Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary required
Serve Safe Certification required.
Fluent in speaking, writing, and communicating in English & Mandarin languages.
Minimum of 5 years experience at management level required.
Knowledge and/or experience of R&D, operations, and training.
Responsible for working with the Culinary Team to achieve stated strategic goals, manage new product initiatives, and assist with the new menu development process.
Responsible for conducting field-testing, product improvements, quality assurance, training, product development, and product tasting.
Works with Culinary Team to strategically cost menu items in advance of menu pricing changes.
Formulates menu pricing proposal based on the best profit model. Evaluate existing menu items to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
Sets and maintains a quarterly audit schedule to review locations’ recipe compliance and ensure exact standards are being met in all locations.
Keep abreast of the top of current culinary and menu trends and track the competition to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Define and implement written product specifications in accordance with food safety practices.
Develop recipe-related support material including recipe books, photos, recipe cards, and various wall charts
Manage the recipe process and train employees on all recipe and menu changes.
