Business Development Manager (logistics/chemicals/mattress Or Foam Industry)

• Personally, responding to customer enquiries face to face, over the phone or via email.
• Emailing offer prices to clients and following up for their feedbacks.
• Developing good relations with suppliers by being in touch with them on regular basis and meeting them as and when required.
• Identifying, understanding and developing various products offered by different suppliers as per the regional requirements and client preferences.
• Negotiating with suppliers and clients to maximize profits for the company.
• Working closely with the procurement manager and suppliers to match product specifications as per customer requirements.
• Keeping track of aging stock which needs to be cleared on urgent basis.
• Communicating with the logistics team and scheduling deliveries accordingly.
• Maintaining Technical Data Sheets and Material Safety Data Sheets for different products.
• Responsible for monitoring sales levels and patterns on a monthly basis to predict any potential issues we are facing currently or might face in the future.
• Providing customers with competitive quotations.
• Conveying new products and services to potential clients.
• Organizing and maintaining stock levels of fast-moving products to increase sales and profitability.
• Establishing & maintaining successful business relationships with all prospects.
