The Manitoba Strategic Initiative Stream is for Skilled-Workers with the skills, education and work experience to contribute to Manitoba’s economy, and who are ready to live and work in Manitoba permanently.
Immigration Manitoba has a firm commitment to not only increase, but also to sustain Skilled immigration to the province of Manitoba. In 2023, MPNP is on target to ensure that 60% of all nomination certificates issued under their provincial immigration programs are awarded to Skilled-workers candidates with the skills, experience, and opportunity to successfully establish and settle in Manitoba.
To support its goals, Manitoba has put in place measures such as the Strategic Initiative stream dedicated exclusively to Skilled-Workers Overseas candidates. MPNP also continues to prioritize Skilled-Worker’s applicants across its program streams.
