Technical and Environmental assessment
- Project 1: Verification of design of Tehkhand waste to energy plant, India.
Verified selection of mass burn incineration for managing 2,000 TPD waste input, with high (46%) moisture content.
Periodic monitoring of waste composition and quality for different seasons in one year as per ASME standards.
Continuous monitoring of air, water, leachate and chimney emission quality using various tools. Collaboration with Eneffco to implement automated monitoring.
Technical assessment in terms of power generation, water requirement as per TDS of the water.

- Project 2: Integrated Solid Waste Management Project in Jamaica
Analyzed historical and projected future waste quantities.
Conducted technical due diligence, including waste collection estimation and plant capacity assessment.
Assisted with environmental and social due diligence, ensuring compliance with EU/US EPA norms.
Checked the suitability of RDF waste in the nearby cement plant by assessing the emission and cement quality.
Assessment of suitability of RDF waste for making paving blocks by analysing structural strength and environmental impacts.
Estimated carbon footprint pre and post-project implementation.
Designed the WtE plant layout in AutoCAD.

- Project 3:Feasibility study of WtE plant in Uganda
Uganda project tasks mirrored Jamaica's, but the sizing and capacity of the plant was based on space, not waste availability. The specific tasks pertaining to this project are outlined as follows:
Conducted extensive research and collected real-world data during site visit to validate the accuracy of the analysis.
A water treatment company was present on the premises. We assessed the compatibility of sludge from their facility with our waste-to-energy plant by considering the environmental impacts by assessing the changes in the chimney emission.

GHG emission expertise
-Project 4: GHG emission reduction methodologies in fisheries sector in India and Maldives
Analyzing and monitoring environmental impact, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions throughout the fisheries value chain.
Assessing environmental footprint, energy usage, and GHG emissions within the Indian and Maldivian fisheries sectors using both top-down and bottom-up methodologies, and verifying findings.
Conducting Work Task Analysis (WTA) and engaging stakeholders to pinpoint operational inefficiencies for in-depth examination of their environmental implications.
Proposing environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies such as Phase Change Material (PCM) storage, hybrid engines, and chiller management systems for implementation in aquaculture farms, hatcheries, fish processing units, and related facilities.

- Project 5:Construction waste and environment
Forecasting of construction waste generation in two metro cities in India. The unmonitored disposal of C&D waste creates huge air pollution.
Conducted an assessment of construction waste quality and quantity
Analyzed historical waste generation data sourced from municipality's Build up Area records
Developed a sophisticated model for estimating C&D waste volume
Considered major urban activities including metro infrastructure and building projects
Ensured comprehensive analysis and accurate forecasting capabilities

- Academic project: A Model for reducing the impact on environment from end use of biomass waste in India
The escalating incineration of paddy straw in northern India and the disposal of diverse effluents from plants in southern India have led to significant environmental pollution.
This initiative aimed to enhance the Air Quality Index (AQI) across more than six states in northern India.
Identified suitable feedstocks for BioCNG production in accordance with the SATAT scheme administered by the Government.
The identified feedstocks include rice straw and husk, sugarcane residue, mustard trash, wheat straw, tapioca pearl plant effluent, and various minor feedstocks like Bajra.
Designed clusters of BioCNG plants across different regions of India and estimated the total potential offtake of Compressed Biogas (CBG).
