Job Description:
A Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure its performance, availability, and security.

1. Network Design and Implementation:
• Designing network solutions based on project requirements and specifications.
• Implementing and configuring networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Deploying and integrating network solutions into existing infrastructure.
• Conducting network capacity planning and optimization to meet performance objectives.
2. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Monitoring network performance and reliability.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, patch installations, and hardware replacements.
• Identifying and troubleshooting network issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
• Implementing network security measures and protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
• Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
• Generating reports on network performance, usage, and trends for management review.
• Documenting network changes, upgrades, and incidents for future reference and audit purposes.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as system administrators, software developers, and cybersecurity specialists to ensure seamless integration and operation of network solutions.
• Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.

5. Requirement:
• Must have 3-5 years’ experience of project implementation and capacity of working independently or with little guidance.
• Must have Certifications such as HCNA, HCNP, CCNA, CCNP
• Must have hands-on experience on Huawei, Cisco routers, switches, Firewall, Wireless products.
• Must have thorough understanding of network protocols, (RIP, OSPF, BGP)
