Position: Food and Beverage Cost Controller
Job Description: As a Food and Beverage Cost Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the costs associated with our food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the restaurant or hotel industry, with a strong understanding of cost control processes, financial management in an F&B environment, and proficiency in using POS software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor food and beverage costs and ensure adherence to budgeted expenses.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and audits.
• Analyze and report on cost variances, making recommendations for improvement.
• Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to minimize waste and optimize resource usage.
• Utilize POS software to track sales, manage inventory, and generate financial reports.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a cost controller in the food and beverage sector, preferably in restaurants or hotels.
• Proficiency in POS software is required.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant financial and inventory management software.
