Position Overview:
The IT Business Development Manager for Oracle E-Business Suite, Business Solutions, Software Development, and Mobile/Web Applications is responsible for driving the growth of the company’s IT solutions and services in these specialized areas. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and expanding the company’s presence in the market. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales, technical, and executive teams to align IT strategies with business goals, ensuring that the company’s offerings meet market demands and deliver value to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Business Development:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on Oracle E-Business Suite, business solutions, software development, and mobile/web applications.
o Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for expansion.
2. Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct in-depth market research to understand the competitive landscape, client needs, and industry trends.
o Analyze market data to refine business development strategies and identify potential new markets or verticals.
3. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
o Identify and target potential clients, focusing on those who can benefit from Oracle E-Business Suite implementations, custom software development, and mobile/web application solutions.
o Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.
o Lead negotiations and close deals that align with the company's goals and client needs.
4. Product and Service Development:
o Collaborate with the product and technical teams to develop tailored IT solutions that meet the unique needs of clients.
o Provide feedback from clients and the market to influence the development of new features and services.
5. Sales and Revenue Growth:
o Achieve sales targets by securing new contracts and expanding business with existing clients in Oracle E-Business Suite and related IT services.

6. Executive Decision-Making Tools:
o Promote and develop solutions that assist executives in making informed decisions through advanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools integrated with Oracle and other business solutions.
o Educate clients on the benefits of using executive decision-making tools to improve operational efficiency and strategic planning.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Partner with technical and development teams to ensure the feasibility, quality, and delivery of proposed solutions.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and materials that support business development efforts.
8. Partnerships and Alliances:
o Identify and establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, system integrators, and other relevant stakeholders.

9. Reporting and Performance Management:
o Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends to senior management.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the IT industry, with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite, business solutions, software development, and mobile/web applications.
• Technical Knowledge:
o Deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite modules, business processes, and implementation strategies.
o Knowledge of software development life cycles, web and mobile application development, and executive decision-making tools.
o Familiarity with cloud computing, SaaS models, and enterprise-level IT solutions.
