Job of a Design Manager:

Key responsibilities:

- Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

- Review and approve design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and material selections.

- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for design projects, including quantities, costs, and specifications for materials. With ability to update and revise BOQ documents as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.

- Inspect site work and materials to ensure compliance with design documents and safety regulations, and to address any issues or discrepancies with contractors and subcontractors promptly.

- Work closely with architects, contractors, suppliers and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
