Job Description
Looking for a motivated and energetic ABA therapist to join our growing team at REACH Behavior and Development Center. REACH is a new Bahrain based multidisciplinary center for autism and other developmental disorders founded by a BCBA. We are passionate about improving the lives of children and their families. Experience and RBT qualification is preferred. BCBA supervision is available.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide overall behavioral supports to clients and staff at REACH. Must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, supports, care and treatment to individuals as required in the Behavior Support Plan (BSP) and be present to provide training to staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and behavioral strategies including proactive strategies, antecedent and consequence strategies, replacement behaviors, etc.
Follow students’ schedule of services.
Seek input and maintain effective communication with other technicians and therapists and CEO.
Participate in staff training on implementation of individual behavioral support plans and related data collection.
Assist in crisis response strategies of individuals demonstrating harmful behaviors.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Assist Senior therapists and Executive Director in case management functions and discharge planning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school degree or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education or related human services field
Experience working with children
Some experience or an interest in working with children with special needs (preferred)
Maintain valid CPR
