Forklift Operator (Warehouse and Outside)

Warehouse Responsibilities:
• Material Handling: Operate forklifts to move goods, materials, and products within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored in designated areas.
• Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory by loading and unloading products, as well as performing regular counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring products are transported to the proper locations within the warehouse.
• Stacking & Organizing: Stack materials or products in an organized manner, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
• Safety Protocols: Follow safety guidelines and conduct regular checks of the forklift to ensure it is functioning properly. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance and routine inspections on the forklift to ensure operational safety.

Outside Responsibilities:
• Outdoor Material Handling: Operate forklifts to transport materials and goods to and from outside storage areas, delivery trucks, or construction sites.
• Site Transportation: Move and position materials for construction, landscaping, or similar outdoor projects, ensuring safe transport to and from various locations.
• Weather Awareness: Adapt forklift operation to outdoor conditions, taking into account weather factors such as rain, snow, or uneven ground.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to site safety protocols, and handle equipment in accordance with legal and company standards to minimize risks and accidents.
• Loading/Unloading Delivery Trucks: Assist in loading and unloading goods from trucks in outdoor environments, ensuring they are properly secured for transport.

In both settings, Forklift Operators must prioritize safety, maintain a strong attention to detail, and ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods.
