Material Engineer/Geotechnical Engineer/Laboratory Supervisor

Expertise in geotechnical investigations, including standard penetration tests, borehole drilling, bore log preparation and packer tests for dams / tunnel. Hands-on experience in the remodeling and modernization of canals and tunnel (5.2 km long,11.5 ft diameter, RCC lined), performed tasks such as face mapping, detailed geological mapping, primary support installation, and field data collection. Conducted geological mapping of excavated faces and recommended optimal tunnel support based on Q-value analysis. Oversaw probe hole drilling to predict geological conditions and generated comprehensive reports utilizing MWD data. Prepared and submitted detailed weekly and monthly reports to clients. Provided technical guidance to contractors on quality, safety, and schedule adherence. Monitored tunnel stability through implementation and analysis of convergence meter and extensometer data. Proficient in supervising drilling and installation of advanced support systems, including canopy tubes, spile bolts, self-drilling rock bolts, steel sets, grouting operation and rock bolts in tunnel construction. Expertise in designing and supervising SFR shotcrete and plain shotcrete applications, covering lattice girders, reinforced ribs, and rock bolts after scaling operations. Proficient in conducting and supervising quality tests for earthwork, concrete and asphalt. i.e. soil classification, standard and modified Proctor tests, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Standard Penetration Test (SPT), and Field Density Test (FDT). Demonstrated ability to manage and monitor critical construction quality control i.e. Concrete Mix Design and Job Mix Formula (JMF) for large-scale infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, and hydraulic structures. Skilled in technical report preparation, correspondence, and leading meetings with clients and contractors to ensure project alignment and quality compliance
