PERSONAL STATEMENT:

The HSE Officer (Health, Safety and Environment) works under the leadership of the company’s senior
professionals and develops, improves, and implements policies and procedures for monitoring all HSE related
aspects of the company’s operations. The officer also provides training to various employees, develops routine
HSE regulatory documents and assists the company's personnel with corporate projects.

CAREER OBJECIVE:

My goal is to contribute to an organization that values safety as a core principle, where I can apply my expertise to
create safer environments, mitigate hazards, and drive compliance—all while empowering people to prioritize
safety in everything they do.
To secure a position with a well-established organization with a stable environment that leads to productive

➢ Responsibilities as a Safety officer:
1. Health & Safety Compliance:
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant occupational health and safety legislation, standards, and
internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with Safety laws (e.g., OSHA, HSE, ISO 45001, 14001) and local safety
regulations.
2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Management:
• Conduct regular hazard identification and risk assessments, Observation Report, JHA, and JSA.
• Develop and implement control measures to mitigate risks and prevent incidents.
3. Incident Investigation & Reporting:
• Lead investigations of accidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts.
• Determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive incident reports for internal use and regulatory authorities.
4. Safety Training & Development:
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Organize regular drills (e.g., fire, evacuation) and toolbox talks to reinforce safety practices.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with certification requirements.
• Proper Guidance to employees.
• Delivering safety presentations to professional audiences & members of the team.
5. Policy and Procedure Management:
• Assist in the development, review, and continuous improvement of safety policies, procedures, and
emergency response plans.
• Ensure all safety documentation is up to date and accessible.
6. Monitoring & Auditing:
• Conduct routine safety inspections and internal audits to identify gaps or non-compliance.
• Provide timely recommendations to management and follow up on the implementation of corrective
actions.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
• Monitor all areas for safety violations and hazards.
7. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Oversight:
• Ensure proper selection, distribution, and use of PPE.
• Monitor PPE stock levels and ensure regular inspection and maintenance.
• Must use the PPE regarding the activity or as per OSHA standards.
8. Emergency Preparedness and Response:
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
• Coordinate with emergency response teams and facilitate training as required.
• Conduct periodically drills for workers during emergencies.
• Ensure first aid and firefighting equipment is readily available and maintained.
9. Recordkeeping and Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive safety records including inspection logs, audit reports, training records, the
Heat-Stress recording values, incident reports, and compliance certificates.
• Generate regular safety performance reports for management review.
10. Continuous Improvement & Professional Development:
• Stay informed of developments in health and safety legislation, technologies, and best practices.
• Recommend innovations and enhancements to the organization’s safety program.
