This is Mohammed Arsalan Khan and iam looking for an Civil QA/QC Engineer position and i have over 5 years of gulf experience
My Responsbilities as an QA/QC Engineer as follows
•Ensure all works performed in accordance to Project Quality Plan, Standards, Project Specifications and Drawings.
•Develop and Review Prequalification, Material Submittal, Method Statements, Material Inspection and Site Inspection for each system.
•Conduct quality control for Materials including review prior to submittal, of-site inspections, material delivery to-site inspections, storage and proper handling.
•Perform quality control for the works on site.
•Manage non-conformance report (NCR) and Corrective Action Report (CAR), follow up the implementation of corrective actions to close immediately.
•Applicable tests for the raw material (fine and coarse aggregates, water, cement/admixtures) and finished product.
•Inspect excavation, compaction, and Field Density test (FDT) before lean concrete work.
•Checking the temperature of freshly mixed concrete.
•Checking the slump of fresh concrete.
•Monitoring the concrete pouring work including air content test, slump test, and temperature of concrete and ensuring that enough number of vibratos are used for concrete work.
•Marking or identification for the newly cast (melded) concrete cube specimens.
•Determination of water permeability for the concrete cube specimens.
•Inspection of Form and Reinforcement work for footings and foundation before concrete and giving clearance for concrete work.
•Monitoring and inspection of honeycomb rectification on concrete area before surface preparation.
•Inspection of surface preparation for the footings, pedestals, foundation, and retaining wall before the application of waterproof bituminous coat.
•Inspection of tank foundations including ring wall foundation, anchor bolts, and backfilling with the approved materials.
•Location and evaluation inspection of equipment foundations which include anchor bolts and embedded plates.
•Inspection of waterproof bituminous coat applications on foundations and giving clearance for backfilling with the approved materials.
•Check Rebar size, number of re-bars used for the structure, overlap, development length, etc.
•Checking bolt location, size of bolt, Top of bolt elevation, and embedded parts.
•Field destiny test, Inspecting Shuttering to plump before pouring concrete rebar checking according to the design, Slump test, Compressive strength test, etc.
•Backfilling and compaction activities of civil work which involves quality control and follow-up specifications as per requirement.
•Checking of bar bending after fixing and cutting, shuttering fixing axis and canter line.
•Verify all samples, certificates of Labourites, and field tests and maintain all filling systems for all quality control procedures, records, reports, etc.
•Supervised field activities such as excavation, foundation works, steel works, concrete pouring, masonry, and finishing work.
