We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have good math skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to handle transactions in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and respond to their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a cash register or POS system
Scan items, ensure pricing is correct, and bag items properly
Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, or store credits when authorized
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
Report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions to the supervisor
