Welder

The Welder is responsible for joining metal parts and repairing metal structures using appropriate welding techniques. The role includes reading blueprints, setting up welding equipment, inspecting completed welds, and ensuring work is done according to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Operate various welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, arc, and gas welders.

Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

Inspect welds for quality and accuracy using tools and visual checks.

Set up and maintain welding machines and tools.

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Cut, shape, and smooth metal parts as required.
