Exciting Opportunity: Deputy Factory Manager (Chemical Engineer) – Manufacturing Division
Our client, a leading manufacturing company in the Chemicals business segment, is looking for a seasoned Deputy Factory Manager to join their SPU – Manufacturing Unit. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional to play a key part in managing large-scale chemical plant operations.
Title: Deputy Factory Manager – Chemical Engineer
Location: Saudi Arabia
Salary: Approx. 12,000 SAR
Business Segment: Chemicals – Manufacturing
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations of manufacturing plants with a focus on Sulphuric Acid, Sulphonation (LABSA & SLES), and Sodium Hypochlorite production.
2. Implement and monitor manufacturing strategies that align with business goals and ensure production targets are consistently achieved.
3. Drive process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost control while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
4. Supervise and develop cross-functional teams, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management.
5. Ensure strict compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) regulations.
6. Support the Executive Director/VP in strategic decision-making, reporting, and execution of business plans.
7. Lead initiatives for plant reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
🔹 Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
2. 10+ years of proven experience in chemical plant operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:
4. Sulphuric Acid production
5. Sulphonation (LABSA & SLES)
6. Sodium Hypochlorite operations
7. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and modern plant management systems.
