I'm Aramco approved Crew Supervisor coating and painting and now looking for a job QCI coating
The Coating Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that all surface preparation and coating application activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and client (e.g., Aramco) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect surface preparation, environmental conditions, and coating application as per approved procedures.
Verify surface profile, cleanliness, and coating thickness using appropriate instruments.
Ensure materials (paint, thinner, abrasive) are approved and stored as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
Review and verify batch numbers, shelf life, and mixing ratios.
Monitor curing and drying times according to product data sheets (PDS).
Prepare inspection reports, daily coating logs, and maintain QC documentation.
Coordinate with the painting supervisor and client inspector during inspection stages (hold/witness points).
Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements at all times.
Qualifications:
Diploma: BAGS Certification Grade II
Experience in Pakistani coating field inspection in oil & gas and industrial projects.
Good knowledge of international standards such as SSPC, ISO, and ASTM.
Skills:
Proficient in using coating inspection tools (DFT gauge, surface profile gauge, hygrometer, etc.)
Strong report writing and communication skills.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality plans.
