💧 The reverse cable is a critical control cable in a PWC's jet pump system. Its function is to transmit the rider's input from the reverse lever on the handlebars to the reverse gate (bucket) located at the rear of the jet pump nozzle.
💧When the rider engages the reverse lever, the cable pulls or pushes the reverse gate down into the jet thrust stream. This action redirects the water thrust forward, allowing the watercraft to move backward.
