About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team and oversee on-site mechanical works, ensuring that all activities are executed according to design, schedule, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily mechanical site activities.
Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project quality requirements.
Prepare daily progress reports and submit to the project manager.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, equipment, etc.).
Identify and resolve technical issues on-site.
Manage materials, tools, and manpower planning.
Support project handover and documentation processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer in [construction/MEP/oil & gas /Power and Water Plant].
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installation standards, and site execution.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project-related software.
Knowledge of safety regulations and QA/QC procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
