1) Perform TIG and arc welding on a variety of metals like steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, adhering to specifications.
2) Set up, operate, and maintain welding machines and equipment, including performing preventative maintenance.
3) Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams to ensure precise fabrication.
4) Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherpence to project specifications and safety standards.
5) Prepare metal components by cleaning, cutting, and shaping them as needed.
6) Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and best practices, including wearing appropriate PPE.
7) Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.
8) Perform repairs on machinery and other components as required.
9) Identify and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Qualifications and skills:

Proficiency in TIG, Arc, and often MIG welding techniques.

3) Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and safety standards.
4) Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
5) Physical stamina to work in various positions and environments.
6) Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Certification in welding is often required or preferred.
