Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise quality inspections for pressure vessels, skids, tanks, structural steel, and piping systems Review and implement ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), WPS/PQRs, and quality procedures Ensure compliance with ASME U/NB-R, ISO 9001, and client-specific requirements.
• Conduct material inspection, dimensional verification, NDT coordination, hydro testing, and FATs Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (TPIAs), client representatives, and certifying bodies Manage and maintain QA/QC documentation including material certificates, welding logs, inspection records, and final dossiers.
• Participate in internal and external audits (ISO, ASME) and drive NCR root cause analysis and corrective action Mentor and guide QC inspectors, welding inspectors, and QA technicians.
• Interface with production, engineering, and planning to resolve quality-related issues proactively Support continuous improvement and ensure adherence to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in or Diploma Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years experience in QA/QC within a fabrication or EPC environment.
• In-depth knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div.1, ASME B31.3, ISO 9001, and welding standards Certified in CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent (mandatory) Level II in NDT methods (UT, RT, PT, MT) preferred.
Preferred Attributes
• UAE/GCC experience preferred
• Experience with pressure vessel manufacturing under U Stamp/NB R certification.
• Familiarity with fabrication of process skids and modular packages.
PRODUCTION ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily fabrication activities for pressure vessels, skids, tanks, piping spools, and structural steel works.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GA layouts, isometrics, and welding details to ensure accurate production execution.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Engineering, Planning, and Procurement teams to resolve technical and material-related issues.
• Allocate manpower, machines, and tools effectively to meet project deadlines and optimize productivity.
• Monitor welding, fitting, cutting, machining, assembly, and mechanical works to ensure compliance with ASME standards and project procedures.
• Ensure proper implementation of WPS, PQR, and welding sequences as advised by Welding/QA teams. Track material availability, fabrication progress, and job card completion; escalate delays proactively.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping in the workshop according to company HSE requirements.
• Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and service providers for outsourced activities (e.g., machining, PWHT, blasting/painting).
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure shop activities meet safety compliance.
• Support QC during inspections, hydro testing, FAT, and client visits. Prepare daily/weekly production reports, progress updates, and resource utilization reports.
• Support continuous improvement activities in fabrication processes, welding productivity, and workshop layout optimization.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of production/fabrication experience in a pressure vessel, skid fabrication, or EPC workshop environment.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes: welding, fitting, rolling, cutting, machining, assembly, hydro testing. Good knowledge of ASME Section VIII, B31.3, and general fabrication standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and fabrication details. Hands-on experience with workshop equipment (rolling machines, cutting machines, welding machines, cranes, etc.).
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills; able to manage welders, fabricators, fitters, and helpers.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
Preferred Attributes
• Prior experience in UAE/GCC fabrication workshops.
• Exposure to ASME U-Stamp / NB-R fabrication environments.
ESTIMATION & PROPOSAL ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities
• Review RFQs, datasheets, P&IDs, engineering specifications, and project requirements for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, skids, structural works, and piping.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including material take-offs (MTO), fabrication hours, welding hours, machining, painting, testing, and third-party inspection costs.
• Coordinate with Procurement to obtain vendor/supplier quotations for raw materials, fittings, consumables, valves, instrumentation, and outsourced services.
• Develop complete technical proposals, compliance matrices, and commercial offers in line with client requirements.
• Interpret and apply relevant design codes such as ASME Section VIII, B31.3, API, and company standards when preparing estimates.
• Prepare preliminary bill of quantities, work breakdown structures (WBS), fabrication sequences, and production assumptions.
• Liaise with Engineering, QA/QC, Production, Planning, and Procurement to ensure accuracy and feasibility of proposals.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and technical discussions with clients and consultants.
• Analyze risk factors, identify exclusions, and prepare deviation lists where necessary.
• Support negotiation activities with Sales/Management by providing cost breakdowns, clarifications, and technical justifications.
• Maintain a database of historical project costs, productivity rates, and vendor pricing.
• Prepare tender submissions, documentation, and ensure all deadlines are met. Track submitted proposals, prepare follow-up reports, and support award-to-handover processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6–7 years experience in estimation/proposal engineering within fabrication, EPC, or oil & gas equipment manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes for pressure vessels, skids, tanks, and structural steel.
• Solid knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div.1, ASME B31.3, and relevant industry codes.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, datasheets, P&IDs, and specifications.
• Strong skills in preparing MTOs, estimation sheets, costing breakdowns, and tender documents.
• Good communication skills for client interactions and technical clarifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office; experience with ERP or costing software is an advantage.
• Excellent English – written and verbal.
Preferred Attributes
• Experience working in UAE/GCC fabrication or EPC sectors.
• Familiarity with U-Stamp / NB-R projects and associated fabrication practices.
