I am an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong exposure to pre-contract and post-contract operations across residential, commercial, and fit-out projects. I have worked in both Sri Lanka and the Gulf region, handling cost estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, and contract administration. My Roles and Responsibilities
❁ Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and material take-offs for various project stages.
❁ Assist in tendering process: RFQs, bid evaluations, and cost comparison sheets.
❁ Conduct pre-contract and post-contract QS activities, including cost control & variations.
❁ Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and contractors for quantity verification.
❁ Monitor project costs and prepare monthly cost reports and payment applications.
❁ Support contract administration, claims evaluation, and document control.
❁ Integrate models (Revit / CostX) for accurate quantity extraction and cost analysis.
❁ Verify as-built drawings and assist in preparing final accounts.
❁ Track project progress and align cost data with planning schedules.
❁ Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and contract conditions.
❁ Conduct material reconciliation and waste minimisation analysis.
