Responsibilities:
Ensure site safety standards are implemented in line with Ma’aden HSE requirements.
Conduct daily inspections, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
Monitor the permit-to-work system and supervise safe operations.
Report and investigate incidents, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire drills, and first-aid readiness.
Identify unsafe conditions in crushers, conveyors, and heavy equipment areas, and enforce corrective actions.
Provide daily HSE reports and actively participate in safety meetings.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent recognized certification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mining, crushing, or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of Ma’aden HSE standards and procedures.
Strong communication skills (advanced English required, Arabic preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and report preparation).
Ability to work in an outdoor environment with dust, noise, and heat.
Able to handle high-pressure situations, and supervise large teams.
Experience working in remote sites or willingness to relocate.
Additional Expectations (specific to crushing plant):
Familiarity with hazards related to jaw crushers, cone crushers, conveyors, and screening plants.
Strong focus on dust suppression, PPE compliance, and traffic management in heavy vehicle areas.
Ability to enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance.
Proactive in building a strong safety culture among employees.
