Migrating Waterproofing Cementation Work

SikaSeal?-250 Migrating (or just Sika 250 Migrating) is a single-component, cement-based, crystalline waterproofing slurry that, when mixed with water, forms a paste applied to concrete to block water ingress by creating insoluble crystals within the concrete's pores and capillaries, effectively sealing cracks up to 0.4mm and resisting water pressure from both sides. It's used for waterproofing basements, tunnels, pools, reservoirs, and other structures, offering durability, freeze-thaw resistance, and chemical resistance.
How it Works (The "Migrating" Part):
Application: It's applied as a slurry (like thick paint) by brush or spray onto concrete surfaces.
Crystallization: Its active chemicals react with moisture and free lime in the concrete.
Sealing: This reaction forms non-soluble, waterproof crystals that grow within the concrete's internal network, blocking water flow.
Key Features & Uses:
Waterproofing: Seals against positive and negative water pressure.
Crack Sealing: Seals fine cracks and the porous network.
Resistant: To water, abrasion, freeze-thaw cycles, and chemicals (like sulfates, chlorides).
Permeable to Vapor: Allows water vapor to pass through, letting the concrete breathe.
Applications: Basements, tunnels, water tanks, reservoirs, retaining walls, lift pits, and sewage
