Assistant Manager – Finance Yamaha Motor Pakistan

In my current role as Assistant Manager in the Finance Department at Yamaha Motor Pakistan, I am responsible for managing key financial operations and ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of all related processes. My core responsibilities include:

Approving spare parts price revisions in line with company policies and market requirements.

Preparing accurate calculations of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

Analyzing and reporting Gross Profit and Marginal Profit to support strategic decision-making.

Overseeing and resolving all spare parts costing issues within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Calculating royalty payments for both motorcycle and lubricant product lines.

Computing total landed cost (TLC) for imported consignments.

Managing foreign accounts payable and ensuring timely settlement of international vendor payments.

Posting international invoices into the ERP system with complete accuracy and documentation.

Coordinating with banks for local and international payment-related matters and resolving discrepancies.

Providing financial data and support to the Deputy General Manager (DGM) Finance for Trial Balance preparation.

Maintaining reconciliation of accruals and prepaid accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Reconciling the raw material ledger and addressing any variances.
